Hey guys,

I have a problem with buying MTN data bundles. I don't have the option to buy data when I call 141. I bought a bundle a few days ago and today I can't buy a bundle though the other data is finished. I read that it has something to do with the terms. Is there any way around this?

Thanks

buy a vodacon sim? Is that a sollution? You can't load 2 databundles there either.

Just buy another mtn simcard, because they limit us to 1 data bundle/30 days. My preferance is to use Virgin mobile's prepaid internet. It costs 60 cents per megabyte and the airtime rolls over for as long as u want it.

Yes you can. In fact you can buy a new bundle when your bundle is down to 20% of its size.

why cant you just TopUp your bundle with as many megabytes as you wish? Like with airtime.. Because they want you to spend those last rand you have on your balace with 'oops out of bundle' data rates. Scammers

it costs about R0.50c to transfer airtime, but it's limited to a few transfers per day/week I can't recall which.

Stop press: see the news section today, MTN has announced (in addition to data rollover for 30 days and new out-of-bundle rates) that you can load multiple data bundles (and no longer have to wait for your 30 day window to expire?). Hallelujah at last!
