Hi there,

Apologies if this has been spoken about before, but can one allocate a "Threshold" for data share?

For eg: Can I allocate 2GBs to a certain MTN number?

Or is it merely share from the same pot scenario

Data share only works on the inclusive data not the promo data.

Thus your 2GB is the only data you can share and not the 50GB. There's no way to limit the data share.

Aah I see! If the other person finishes the two gbs you've shared, does the rest come from my account or theirs?

I would assume theirs but to make sure your account is unaffected, through the App set your usage limit to R 1. Thus you will never pay above your contract price. Should you use up all your data/min, you just just recharge with airtime and buy bundles or use the airtime to make calls. Eliminates OOB
