So if you want the yearly data bundles but don't like the nasty R0.99 per minute billed per second voice plan then you can bypass it by doing the following:

1. Migrate to Data4Keeps and buy your bundle of choice and then migrate back to your old price plan. The data will stay. *NOT recommended for people on 1c per second price plan as you will loose access to this price plan if you migrate!!!

2. Buy a extra MTN prepaid sim and migrate it to MTN Data4keeps and buy your data bundle of choice. Now activate MTN Data share and share that data to your main simcard.

3. Stick to MTN data4Keeps price plan and buy the MTN signature bundles to bring the call rate down to +- 60c per minute.

Got to love how we're all hating the thought of a 99c per minute call. Option [1] does seem like a good option for people, I've never had any luck with DataShare working for me although everything was set up.
