I am trying to find a place that has this Datacard for free as advertised on the messenger package. It was advertised two weeks sunday. I understand it was an MTNSP offer. Can you confirm this and tell me were I can get this offer. I want to sign asap.

The MTNSP advert I have from the Sunday Tribune two weeks ago advertises the Novatel 3G card with the MyCall Extend contract. I did not see the Express Message contract advertised in the same advert.

Anyway, I have used the same MTNSP contact number in Durban to find out about the Novatel card and the GC85, Aircard 775 (both EDGE alternatives). They tell me they don't have stock of the Novatel at the moment, but will be getting in soon. I've decided to go witht the GC85. Will hopefully get it on Friday.

No, a free GC85 card on MyChoice75

Edit: No, it's not a USIM.
MTN are still to phase them in (in the not too distant future I hear).
They will come standard with 128k
Also.... from Friday you will also be given the choice of a Sierra Wireless card too!

USIM on MyChoice75?

Dbnet, do you get a USIM with the Mychoice 75 with the free GC85? I just phoned the salesperson at MTNSP in MT Edgecombe and they don't know what SIM is shipped with MyChoice75. I'm hoping it's USIM because I'll hopefully be upgrading to a 3G handset / combod data card in the near future when 3G becomes available in PMB.

Ash, the salesperson also confirmed that they don't have the Novatel in stock at the moment.
