Hi chaps,

I have a top up R250 p.m. contract with MTN, and i get R200 airtime, and BIS included.
9 months left on the contract, came with a 9300 blackberry.

i called and got the figure of R1300 early termination fee for the contract if I wanted to cancel right now.

i want to cancel the MTN contract, and then go on prepaid with Cell C ( ofcourse! )
with Cell C i'll load R100, get more minutes and BIS at R37 works for me.

the question is: should I wait a bit, or do the move now?

If I wait, i'll just be carrying on as is, no real pro's.. but plenty cons as there is a cellular revolution happening with Cell C and i am not part of it!

or

do the move now!
Will cost me an additional R900 over the next 9 months, but somehow I feel i will have a better deal, with better flexibility and options when I do move to a decent android handset.

what do you think?
thanks.

Just wait out the duration of your contract, and see whats "the next best thing" by then, I litterally read just minutes ago a thread bashing on Cell C saying how pathetic their service is, the grass is not always greener:D

Edit: Do yourself a favor a go view complaints on hello peter for MTN/Cell C/Vodacom and whoever else and you'll realize they all have cons.

yea i think you right mate.. but you know this game: common sense tells me that by the time the next big thing comes along, the next next big thing pops up a few days later!

maybe if remain on pre paid? better? maybe?

IMHO you'll be saving more than R900 by getting out now, as soon as you can!

Perhaps buy a Cell C prepaid SIM card and take it for a "test drive" to see what coverage and data performance is like in your area, then make up your mind?
