MTN fastlink E367 modem problem

Can any one currently using a MTN fastlink E367 modem .

Please contact me ???? I am having problems with mine and nobody seem to be able to resolve my problems at MTN ????

Sorry for hijacking this thread, but maybe somebody can help me,


Today I the Mtn E352 fastlink modem,When I plugged it in and install all the drivers on my WIN7 pc and booted the MTN online modem software, it seem that it does not pick up the modem and mdma telling my the device is not responding so i poped into my Win xp pc same story

any ideas?

I have a problem with MTN . They say I use more data than what my dashboard of my modem show . I know it may be a small amount out but not up to 1.2GB ????

Secondly they say I was using my modem since it was Rica on 12 March 2012 , but I only got the settings correct after help from some one on "my broadband" at 10pm on 16 March 2012

My dashboard usage report in another window need to show what data is received. What data has been used and what data remain available . On my modem dashboard it show exactly the same data number in both the window for received and used .With the result that my window showing the remaining data available .Is always "NUL "

My modem usage report also show that its been in use since September 2011 . Yet I only received it on 6 March 2012 and MTN only Rica it on 12 March 2012 . How is this possible ????

On my first full month MTN claim that I used 3.2GB in less than 4 weeks . Yet the usage report on my dashboard is clearly showing only 1.8GB used ????

I have been trying to get this problem solved with the people working at MTN but every time you get some one else and its getting to a point that I am seriously hampered with my internet .

In the first week of May a lady from MTN confirmed that on that day I had 1.4 GB left (as I stopped using the modem on 20 April 2012) Yet when I received my 2GB on 14 May 2012 + the available GB transferee from the previous month . It total only 2.7GB instead of 3.4GB . What happened to the other .7 GB ????

It may be the settings on your modem ?? I am not sure what it should be in your case , but I also had endless problems before my settings was corrected with the help from someone on this forum (person was from DBN)

Found the problem they gave me a SIMCARD that does not work with modems and only cellphones
