Hi All,
Wondered if anybody has more info on the following phenomenon.

I use software called Trusteer for banking website etc. it is similar to Rapport or Prevx.

Now I spotted this log on the Trusteer report.

"The following processes tried to capture an image of a protected website. Rapport blocked these screen capture attempts. These processes are not necessarily malicious. Some applications may take screen shots as part of their regular operation. There is no action you need to take. Rapport will continue blocking screen capturing attempts as long as sensitive information is presented.
MTN F @ stlink.exe is permanently blocked from capturing sensitive data"

As the software has got full internet rights through firewall could it also be sending these screenshots somewhere?

Many thanks for any leads.

Naho.

I cannot think of any legitimate reason why the MTN F@stlnk software might need to capture your screen.

It may be a false positive from the Rapport software, have you checked with the vendor?

Also, search your hard-drive for files with the name 'MTN F @ stlink.exe' (are those spaces correct?), it may be that someone has installed screen capture software on your PC and renamed the executable to something they think would not look suspicious.

I put spaces so it wouldn't format to email. It is the correct file name for the the MTN software currently running and I have scoured my machine thoroughly for nasties.
I just found another similar log entry for screen capture attempt by "iron.exe" that is the SRware Iron browser file.
Which vendor you reckon I should contact MTN or Rapport?
