So I bought the 1GB internet bundle and got another 1GB free. When checking my balance using the *141*1# ussd, it tells me my balance is 1023.98mb giveback promo and 811mb once-off bundle. That means it is consuming the bought bundle, which is valid for 60 days, first. I'm sure the terms and conditions stated the the promo bundle, which is only valid for 30 days, will be consumed first. Anyone knows what the order of depletion should be ?

That is strange because for me it always depleted the bundle that expires first then the next bundle.

So if I get the MTN Wow bonus it would use that then when that is finished the give back bundle then the 60days bundle...

Did you check on *141*1# to make sure it is the 60 days expiry bundle that is being depleted?

Picked up the same thing here this morning. 10G is now 9.47G while the 5.6G free data hasn't changed.
I have Data share enabled, could this be the problem? It worked the right way around in November/December.

Edit:- Checking my balance on mtn Self Service on the web.

Well bought a 3GB data bundle for R299 and my 3GB Give back data is being depleted first. Data share service not enabled.

Same here. My main bundle was being depleted until i disabled Data Share (even though there were no Data Share numbers listed).
Disabled it with *141*5#, 1. Manage Internet Bundles, 3. Data Share ...
Now the promo bundle is being used, after starting a new session.

Also *141*1*3# is working properly again and now lists both bundles.
I noticed on 2nd Feb that it broke and only listed the promo bundle or "Y'ello, you do not have other additional balances."
when there was only a main bundle.

OK, so this is definitely an error introduced with the Data Share service . Now, how to get a MTN rep to acknowledge and rectify this unintended consequence.
