I am a new user here, living in Wilgeheuwel (Honeydew Ridge) in the Roodepoort west area.
MTN
I am struggling with my connection as at the moment we only get dodgy GPRS/EGDE coverage. I have been trying for the last 2 months to find out from MTN when they will be upgrading our area to 3G/HSDPA, but to no avail.
Does anyone here know when this will happen?

Don't bet on them saving the day either, applied for a new number 8 weeks ago thinking MTN can eat my 4mbps adsl dust, but they do not have any numbers for this area. Also no one from our beloved parastatal is interrested in sorting this out.
Anyone else battling with this as well? If so maybe we can show unity in numbers and put some real pressure on these cheese cakes to do their jobs.
