MTN hit with R71 billion fine: report

Let's not jump to conclusions just yet...

1. Did the president read this ammount? It might only be R750...

2. Is this not the other way around and maybe MTN won R71 billion because they might be related to a Nigerian prince?

Ja, can't say my sympathy gland is getting much stimulation by this. It might have some implications for other SA businesses operating in Nigeria though.

So some cheapskate conman puts up a building which collapses causing over 100 deaths and nothing happens but if you don't deactivate unregistered mobile phones the same country nails you for 71 billion ?
