Hi there, just doing a bit of research, and need a bit of info that will only take a few minutes (have made it simple so anyone can join in and help)
If you are on line and running XP Goto Start / Programs / Accessories / Command Prompt
Type in netstat/an
What you are looking at are the network connections, which are a lot of numbers
Look on the left row of numbers (local connections) are any with the number 127.0.0.1:xxxx
(note 127.0.0.1 is the home address - xxx can be any number)
I am interested in the port number, this is the number after the : so it could be something like 127.0.0.1:456
Soooooo..... what numbers you got
