Hi all

I took a contract out with MTN (despite having been warned against it by probably 20 people). The cost of the contract is R379 + my SMS bundle of R50. Because I got it at the end of the month, I was given pro-rata. Apparently I'm going to get debited on the 21st.

I checked and they will be billing me R872.70.

For month 1, it's R336 (Oct 25-Nov 21) and month 2 (in advance) it's R436 (which is correct). But now they are also charging me R86.84 connection fee? I got it through MTN direct? Why am I being charged a connection fee?

Also, on the MTN active website, what does 'unbilled itemised calls' mean? I have a balance there of R744.27. What the heck is this?

I should've stayed with Vodacom.

David.

they normally bill you 2 months late so his months debit will be 336, next month will be r436, its very confusing as u look as if you owe them about r1000 a month, but its 2 months installments on the bill, i hope that makes sense its still boggles me why they charge it this way. but next month will be r423 and whatever the following months debit will be.

connection fee all service providers charge this with new contract, unfortunately :(
un billed itemized calls is your calls that have not been charged to an invoice yet, basically it belongs in next months statement.
