WTF is MTN Hybrid BIS Blackberry Service?

Just go a sms from 141 to say that I have been succesfully subscribed to this. I never asked for it. have always just been a 'normal' BIS subscriber

Yeah, WTF is this ? i just got a SMS from 141 stating the same message Rands got.

the word Hybrid scares me a little, please let MTN's BIS not be throttled like Voda....

I called in but the lady couldn't help me when I took a look At the sms I saw that mtn usually spElls "yellow" like y'ello, but on the message it was yellow! With an exclamation mark no comma

My wife has just received the sms but no mention of "Hybrid".

Sorry. Did get thru to MTN earlier. The person said that if u are on top-up, as I am, and if BIS is included in your contract, then its a hybrid BIS service, as opposed to a adding BIS to a normal contract.

He said everything looks normal on the system and my subscription fee is still R319 incl BIS on MTN 200.
