When checking up via 141 my usage on the phone, I was surprised to hear that I don't have the 150MB bolt-on. I phoned the call-centre and they said that they have a "general technical problem" with all iPhones and their contract data-bundles.

Has anyone else experienced this? I will not be a happy camper to find out that I am being charged out-of-bundle rates while they sort out their mess. At the moment it appears that this will only be done by Wednesday.

When I first got my iphone my 300MB bundle was not loaded I phoned them and they loaded it for me

Another interesting point is that MTN (via 141) says I've used ~70 MB of data but my phone says ~21 MB of data??

Well I signed up for the 150 but only got 60 and the lady at the mtn store told me that it is also a general problem and it will be sorted asap so i guess we gotta wait :(

Twitter is your friend with MTN - they managed to sort out my roaming issue last week in a few hours - http://twitter.com/#!/MTNSouthAfrica. No matter what one says, they do put quite some effort into social media monitoring and assisting customers (actually better than phoning the call-centre)

when i phone 258 to check my remaining aitime, I am told that i have not used any of my 90 minute bolt on internet bundle....problem is that i never had or wanted such a bundle. I dont have an i-phone. just goes to show how screwed the MTN system is. is a common problem with lots of subscribers.

I got a contract with mtn on the new iphone and i have the same problem, i have called them and went in to the shop and all that i get is that they are working on the problem, then i spoke to one of the sales ppl in the shop and he said he had the same problem but it got sorted. No i'm paying through my ears for data and there is nothing that i can do about it. I even wrote a complaint on hellopeter, and just got a lazy ass response.

Have anyone been abile to solve the problem

still the same problem for me - empty promises. perhaps RPM should jump on this, as currently all iPhone users will probably be charged at out of bundle rates and will never be able to reconcile their invoices.

Just spoke to MTN again - it looks like they loaded most of the iPhone4 packages without the data-bundle. So this will mean quite some reconciliation and billing nightmare for MTN and users - so make sure that you check your next few invoices as you might be charged out-of-bundle rates. (BTW: Twitter really helps in those cases and MTN is very proactive in resolving the issues).

I saw the same thing phoned them and they said they busy looking into it !
