MTN iPhone Package Issue

Hey folks,

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this:

I was trying to see my data usage online, and track the free bundle (300MB) I'm supposed to get and that the usage and carry over are correct. This is a nightmare on the MTNsp site so I phoned them for help.

They couldn't help me but the consultant said that the 300MB free data I was supposed to get every month was just an "opening special" until December and that from now on I would only be getting 150MB.

Has anybody else been told this?
 
Maybe it's one of those fineprints which you haven't read.

And you're giving this a thumbs up why? I have 300Mb data and it's not a special, if they try to reduce it in half there'll be hell to pay.
 
Same thing happened to me. Apparently they couldn't load 150mb bundles
So until they sorted it out everyone got the 300mb bundle.

I got 150 this month so it looks like they fixed it.

I haven't received my 150mb data bundle and airtime yet and I'm meant to get it today. :/ I've been an mtn subscriber for 2 weeks and already I hate them.
 
I am also on the 150meg data package but have up until now received 300meg every month.

I have also bee unsuccessful in checking my data balance.

ok so it seems to be a case of the "consultant" being incompetent and not knowing the detail. I got a 300MB data package today.

But I still can't see data usage on my statement, posted or online. They logged a call with "technical" yesterday but I still haven't been contacted.
