MTN is now engaging in defrauding its mobile data Customers

Cell No. **********

This message I sent to MTN on their contact us website:

I bought R50 airtime on 17/01 which was confirmed at 16.16h by SMS.

However, no positive airtime was registered on Balance Summary (*141*2#).
The airtime was needed in a place which has only MTN reception and was valid only for 7 days.
I do not use MTN otherwise.

Please refund the amount ASAP to my A/C No.***********, Code ******. Refusal to do so will immediately trigger a complaint with the Western
Cape Consumer Protector, ICASA and Hello Peter.

I wrote a complaint to MTN about this on their website on 24/01. They don't give an e-mail address so you cannot have proof that they received it and you sent it. They will probably deny that they received it. On their phone no.s you get only automated responses. You cannot speak to a human being.

Up until now I have not received a reply from MTN.

if you cant get a hold of customer service go to an MTN outlet and they will help you or put you in touch with the people who can hopefully help you.

Why should I do that? This hopeless company must provide a service! I have complained to ICASA, WCOCP and Hello Peter. This communication behemoth must learn to communicate!

Odd that you loaded airtime at 16:16, and only checked balance 4 hours later.
