I recharged today but the expiry date remain the same. And this is not the first time. :mad:

if you are luck the expiry date will extend otherwise you have to wait it expired and then recharge. In fact the actual expiry date is one day before.

you will never find a person to talk to you. (173-no agent, 808 - no response)

:mad::mad::mad:

forget about MTN.

With MTN any recharge less than R30 has a expiry date. R30 and over does not expire.

When you phone 173 it is not a easy task to talk to a agent. You need to press a option that need further assistance. I usually just go to the sim swap or stole phone option and they give you a option to speak to a service champion....

I've never had a problem on MTN. Are you talking about just loading airtime? As Cavedog said, it shouldn't have an expiration date. I have a topup contract and have never had airtime disappear.

you will understand what I am talking about now when you want to cancel your contract.

I just try, they removed it from the menu.

It will be a while before that happens, as I'm very happy with MTN. Hopefully their cancellation woes will have been resolved in a few years.
