mtn limited free data

I upgraded my contract and got a lte phone. I got lots of 3 data for 3 months. As i got adsl at home, I don't use much mobile data. Can i use the phone as a wifi hotspot, and use the laptop to browse and download. Will this data only work where 4G is, or everywhere.

Just confirm with a sales agent, they changed the terms on that free data. If you talking about 10GBx3 months, it is now 30GB for 30 days only. This is atleast what i was told.

You can use it as a WiFi hotspot and use it everywhere there is MTN coverage.

I found the page that now states what i mentioned regarding the data above.

This is going to cause some cr@p with users who think they have data for 2 more months :/.

I got like 5 sms's witch said 3 x 10 gb, [3 months], dailing 141 ussd shows as you say, 30 gb , so I am going to make a plan and try to use it.

Was the 30Gig only on special for October? There is no real information on the free data on the net.

don't know, but mine is now for 30 days only.
I got sms's telling me about it. "if you upgrade to a lte phone ,,,,,,,,then,,,,,,,"
