MTN loves me

If it wasn't such a disgrace it would have been funny...

I think it is supposed to be Bytes not MBytes. Or maybe Bits?

1TB of data!

I would just like to take this opportunity to thank MTN for the one terabyte of data they're just given me!

Okay, looks like MTN's data stats are a bit screwed. My story is that for the last couple of months my data usage hasn't been monitored. I never get charged more than my data contract subscription - R249. My problem is that I really can't monitor my data usage, I use a B970 wireless gateway and the thing looses it's data count every time the power fails... which in the Eastern Cape seems to happen too frequently.

I've even gone so far as to phone MTN and explain my problem and more often than not the help desk person asks me if I'm actually using my line... they can't see ANY activity on it!!! I've tried to get them to email me their reference numbers for my calls - I want to record of my attempts to sort this thing out if MTN come to me with a ridiculous bill one day.

Other than that, I'm very happy with my MTN data contract. I've been on Vodacom and MTN and in my opinion MTN is the best.

Cheers

Rob

Just got off the phone with them after prob 5 dropped calls, got a nice English lady on the other end who also checked my details, just to ask me when last did i use my data bundle, as there has been no traffic on the account for the last 2 months.
Got a ref number now will wait & c what happens, she told me that i was her second call regarding this, seems like were not the only people tempted to backup the internet ;)

Check bundle balance today and it has reset to my data bundle limit.........from 22 terabytes!:D

Looks better today. Updates every day now albeit incorrect. Used 44.65MB and MTN shows 40.2 used over 2 days.
