MTN loyalty points DATA and Roaming

Hi Guys,

I hope someone out there can help me out on this one. I will be travelling overseas in a couple of months and was wondering if I could convert my loyalty points to data bundles which I could use while away in Europe for a week. Still want to be able to keep in touch via twitter and facebook.

Is this possible?

Nope.

Data bundles apply only in SA, whether purchased normally or via loyalty points.

Best bet, buy a local pre-paid sim, you can usually bolt on a decent data bundle (sometimes uncapped) for quite cheap (my experience in the UK - not sure out the rest of Europe)
