So I got a new nano sim for my phone and every time I make a call now I get a MTN menu popping up asking if I want to send my details to that party!
WTH I do not want this feature .How do I disable it?
Thanks

Depending on the setup of your phone, go into Apps and Disable/Force Stop all MTN related apps you aren't using. For example, on my one phone, I've disabled "MTN DS", "MTN PriceCheck" and "myMTNza".

Do the same for Cell Broadcasts - not sure if this will work, as I've never received an MTN pop-up, but doing so once helped me out with stopping a nagging voice prompt.

Very irritating, couldn't make it go away despite disabling it, eventually it just stopped.

Why in the world Mtn would even include that functionality with the sim and have it enabled by default is beyond me.

If you want to disable it go to the MTN Menu app. Look right at the bottom for the "CallerXchange" option second line should be a Turn Off option, select that.

Should be gone now. New simcards come with that setting set to on by default.
