i have noticed that when you don't have airtime you can't download MMS's??? but as soon as you load airtime you can retrive the mms...

Why it is like that when you don't need airtime on Vodacom Cellc & Virgin to get your mms's?

Presumably because MMS needs to use GPRS/3G to download the message, and MTN charges for all GPRS/3G usage.

I Know you are not a rep. But was just wondering if MTN found anything?

MTN call center (after being on hold for 50mins) informed me that you DO need airtime to download mms's oh well.

The reason i am asking is because i have a few friends on MTN and they asked me. So i bought a MTN starter pack and tried it out
