MTN Network on the blink again

Yep, in Helderberg this morning. Restarted phone, all ok thereafter.

Tried that, no go.

Call centre says only issue with some numbers... cannot explain what or why.

Phoned another MTN number just now...static on the line. And I don't mean a bit of static...its *just* static/chirping.

MTN must really fix their sht. Its unacceptable to charge for such non-existent service. Sure sometimes compression artifacts happen...but if I can't understand a single fckin word then it not a telephone call - its a simple noise generator charging by the minute.

If it were just today then I'd let it slide, but its been varying from bad to catastrophic for a while now. Strangely only happens on MTN to MTN calls. Telkom/Vodacom/Anything to MTN is fine. I guess MTN to MTN is just too much MTN incompetence in one go.

I had to restart my phone to sort the problem out at about 5:00pm. Had full signall all day but no connectivity.

Same here. No 2G internet, only had Hsdpa connection on and off today and SMSes didn't go out.
