What is this sh*t???

Who's choice is that? Definitely not mine.

I don't to be forced to by data from MTN!!! And I don't use SMS anymore.

R249 for 200min, 100SMS, 300MB Data.
That is without a device.

What happened to R109 for R200 airtime, 25SMS without a device???

Yes MTNs latest deals really suck, I'm only sticking with them to keep my number and because I don't want to port and apply for another contract at Vodacom. (my only other option)

I'm going to find out if the Anytime packages will still be available. If not, I'm gone. I've been ripped off for 20 years. They are not going to do it anymore.

They seem to have the option of either contract. Or at least that is how the yello trader reads.

On mobile so difficult to copy links to here...

The only reason I am with MTN, is that it is the only network that has 3G coverage on the farm where I spend 95% of my time.

That said, it is on the pre-paid one4all package and I would never ever sign a contract with them.
I only considered it when Afrihost launched their internet APN to contract holders, but their contract packages a terrible and I am better off now.

Well I suppose it depends. Anytime rates are R2.30 per minute. So if you want to use 200 minutes on Anytime that would cost R460. So you'd have to be on Anytime 500 to get 200 minutes.

Well you're in the minority. Most people need data with their smartphones. And it's a pretty good deal.

Why deliberate at all? I just bid farewell to the yellow team after a decade (at least) and joined the blue team. Migrate to prepaid and once it's done, do a port-in at the blue team. SmartPlan 100 would be a good place to start. ;) 100 Minutes airtime, free calls to other blue subscribers, 5GB blue data, 300MB yellow data when roaming, 10GB WiFi.

You can thank me later. :D

Check signal in your main areas first... By that I mean, get a prepaid Sim and use it for a week before porting... My area is meant to have full TM 3G and I don't get any signal whatsoever... Only roaming - I bought an internet starter pack so that doesn't help me

Hmmm so how does top up deals work now?

If you are on Telkom Mobile, you can roam freely on MTN's network. ;)

My Smartplan 150 contract gives me 300MB roaming data (MTN) & 5GB Telkom Mobile data a month.

You are paying too much. :D
