I have been using a spare Prepaid sim in a mifi device for the past few months for data only (Afrihost).
i never read the messages that get sent to the sim but on the 20th MTN disconnected my number.
so basically i have had no data since then. i thought there was something wrong with MTN signal as i am in a remote area.
anyway, i have called the Call center and they have apparently put in a request to reactivate the number. since then i now have signal(previously no service) but i cannot connect to the internet.
anyone have a solution? i have called the call center again however they are pretty useless tonight no one seems to know whats happening.
also what can i do to avoid this going forward?
