I type in *162*12345# where 12345 is my pin.

I choose option 1 - bundle info

I choose option 1 - all bundles ( I assume this takes into account package type , ie Procall 120 , called Performer 120 minute , sms bundles , data bundles and other goodies )

I upgraded last week to a sms 500 bucket and made a contract change , I see this information has still not updated on this online a/c service although when logging onto https://www.mtnactive.co.za/mtnsc/ I see the contract changes that have thus taken place ...

When does this info on this handset service update , is it on the end / start of new billing cycle or how ?

Looks like your having a really bad time on all the MTN services. U must be really unlucky.

I am only asking since I am on the warpath , people from MTN helping me don't want to commit to anything aside from getting the problem fixed , they won't even follow up with a courtesy call.

Since I am having the porting issues looked at by all and sundry , my personal account with MTN has this problem hence the enquiry.

Thanx for the update.

I still suggest that if you having problems and have high call volumes as a result of those problems and you leave your subs the option of leaving messages with contact details , that you contact them back or simply send an sms / email / fax ...

You offer the service , you making the money , so spend a little time on customer care , takes money to make money ...

*aside from the port issues , if I had simply been told what was cutting and not be passed from pillar to post , then I would have not made such advances in solving the problem*

I hear you. And it sounds like you have had a really frustrating time. I would like to mention that all requests from our clients are being looked at and your comment has bee noted.

The Problem with the SMS is the following IMO.

Lets say 10 000 people are affected by a set issue. and we SMS all our Subscribers it would generate more calls as to why they got this SMS then the Subscribers not phoning because of the SMS. We are looking into alternative measures esp. after this last 2 weeks we had.
