MTN operator message

I recently received the new MTN smart 3g phone. I constantly receive this notices of null massage from network operator. I would like if someone can help me with how to disable that.

Were you able to find the solution to this? Having the same issues tried playing with different settings but no change.
Could not find any "Broadcast Messages" in message settings.

I am having the same issue with MTN Smart S Cellphone, I have tried everything to disable the "null message".
I have made contact with KaiOS (The operating system of the phone) and sent them photos of the error messages and a short note on the error message, I am waiting a reply from them, I will keep you posted.

MTN themselves didn't know what to do, eventually the lady put my notifications on silent thinking that would solve the problem. I ended up returning the phone to MTN and getting a refund.

I use the cell phone as a backup phone to my primary phone, It's a great and cheap little phone.

Any progress? I'm also experiencing the same issue and its really annoying :(
 
My phone shuts down by itself forcing a battery pull to switch it back on again. The previous one did it as well. Really annoying. Might have to return this one also.

A friend of mine recently encountered a similar issue and returned his. I'm not in a hurry to return it as the operator message thing sure is annoying but I can get over it. Hopefully I don't run into the power issue

I have set my Data setting APN to myMTN and leave all the settings blank and save it, seems to have fixed it, fingers crossed.

I replaced my MTN simcard as it had expired on Friday the 6th of November 2020. I received my setup configuration settings via sms that MTN had sent me and the "Null message" and beeping has stopped.

Maybe to do with the configuration of 3G and MMS ?.
