That alone should be enough reason to move to MTN, but here's another - Vodacom belongs to Telkom, the most hated company in South Africa.

These networks are just the same, SAME DIFFERENCE!!! Pity cause we cant do without them (CellC & Virgin's coverage sucks)!!!

LOL and your question is?
I can't believe you went to 2 different Vodacom stores, and you are STILL considering giving them ur business

I kinder thought that they where cheaper but now i no that they all expensive but MTN it is i guess...

I find MTN use to be cheaper and u didn't have to pay the once off fee for existing clients, but that all changed. MTN & VC are basically the same.As far as phones go, MTN get then first because VC do their testing amd loading of their crap software. I am with MTN for 10 years now and would not trade them for the world.

Lol!! Voda is far better. MTN service is pathetic!! Their networks ok, but thats it!
Voda always gets the phones first, just the N95 they had before for whatever reason...

Maybe because some people actually listened to what the people are asking for ;)

Ya well overall MTN is 2nd best. I dont think just by getting one phone first makes you the better network.

Or maybe it's just a taste of things to come.....

I think MTN is now moving out of the shadows they are in 21 countries now so they have to up their game

Ok that means their priorities are split 21 ways, i rather have one network in one country, my country!;)

*Cough* Vodaphone*Cough*

Apart from selling their phones and using them for roaming, Vodacom is still better, Vodaphones best partner!! theres a big difference.

Looks like MTN is trying to be a Vodafone, Lol would love to see them start branding phones!!

Maybe we should have a manual on "things to consider when chosing a cellphone provider"

Ok then lets put itlike this

FamilyTopUp 135 vs mychoice 150 and where would i fide my self paying more for the n95?

How the hell can anyone give their money to the most UNETHICAL company in this country & the handbrake to our economy????

If you are a Vodacom subscriber, I'm sorry to say it, but you're making Telkom even richer and the reason why things will never change in this country.

I refuse to have ANYTHING telkom in my house - end of story.

MTN all the way. ;)

...and now for an educated answer, :D

all networks charge about the same for their calls so if you like yellow go for MTN, blue (meerkat?) then VC, short red helmetted people then CELL-C, and richard branson's smug face, Virgin!

if the person you call the most is a vodacom subscriber, then choose vodacom, as its gonna work out much cheaper that way; same goes for other networks. (otherwise both of you port to MTN  )

mtn does have better coverage too.

as for service, well we're in south africa... don't ask for alot!
