Hi Folks
I am trying to set up a nokia 6233 with a MacBook Pro (leopard) as a bluetooth modem.
I have been experimenting with all the settings combinations i can think of (have done many phones before) and still getting the notice to "subscribe to packet data first"
The activity monitor shows that we are connected and sending, it is just not possible to receive. I have changed the apn on the phone to internet and myMTN, but neither give me the desired result.
I have used scripts from Ross Barkmann as well as the old faithful MMHS_Modem.
tried phone number as *99# | *99***1# | *99***2#
username tried as guest with pw guest
and username mtn with no pw
have disabled packets and tcp header compression on the MacBook Pro.
mobile phone connects to the net fine and sends mail.
I'm totally stumped and any heads up will be much appreciated.
cheers
i have also tried adding DNS server as recommended by Ross Barkmann of 192.11.240.241
