MTN phone is using Vodacom towers!

My wife's number starts with 082 but we ported this a year ago to MTN. Now she tells me she can't call or sms. The area messages say "Y4L 50%, Voda 50% other" which means the phone is logged into Vodacom!?

Mine however is on MTN showing MTN Zone messages.

A reboot put the phone back on MTN. Weird!!

What phone is she using, maybe try and have the software checked out if the problem arises

I also get that sometimes and I ported from Vodacom to Virgin. My brother got same thing with Vodacom to MTN. And is your MMS from/to Vodacom working, because ours stopped when we ported. Looks like Vodacom doesn't like disconnecting its users.
