MTN, kindly clarify the following.

It has been claimed on this forum that the Nokia N97 is available at MTN on the AnyTime 200 contract for R359 pm with no pay-in. See here http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showpost.php?p=2957719&postcount=26 (read the rest of that thread).

I went to a MTN (SP) shop in N1 City in Cape Town today and were shown on the system that a pay-in of R3600 is required on the AnyTime 200 contract.

MTN, please provide us with the correct information that should be applicable everywhere.

In the YelloMag (mtnsp mag) they have it for R489. I'll upload a pic in a few minutes

Hi mh348, thanks, I've got that. That's for an AT350 contract.

AT350 = no pay-in.
AT200 = R3600 pay-in as per MTN shop N1 City.

Do the maths. See here: http://mybroadband.co.za/vb/showthread.php?t=182014&page=6

The person on the AT200 contract gets screwed big time ... if the MTN shop in N1 City's data is correct. As I said, they showed me on their system.

Can staff at the other MTN shops - if any are active on here - please tell us what they have on their systems?

Okay, MTN is not with us ...

... as opposed to Vodacom that - in the persons of Jannie vZ (past) and VodacomData (present) - interacts here with current and future corporate telecommunication decision makers, understanding the power of a forum like this.
