MTN prepaid roaming USSD - PLEASE HELP

Please help.

I need to enable international roaming on a prepaid MTN SIM for a visit to Canada and can't find the USSD code anywhere.

MTN claim that international roaming is the default on prepaid but last time I was in Canada I couldn't send or receive confirmation messages from my bank/credit card even though I had plenty of airtime and data. It was a nightmare

Does anyone know if the confirmation messages are SMSes - there's no trace of them on my phone?

It is on by default but do they have a roaming partner that side. Just another idea never tried it how about cell c with there wifi calling setup so if you on wifi there your phone will work as if you were in sa with sa rates

*111# there you can enable and disable your roaming.

I've had it before when travelling that everything else works but bank sms don't come through.

My thumb suck was that the banks may block the forwarding.
