Is this different to Vodacom, 8ta or Cell C?

My brother lent me his SIM to test my signal on MTN, popped it my Cell C modem and - although it picks up signal - it won't connect.

I'm using the bog standard Cell C profile which worked for Vodacom and 8ta too :/

Does MTN have a different AP or username/password?
Other option is maybe the card isn't active yet - but it's been like 5 days since he got it!

MTN's default APN is 'myMTN', but they also have one named 'internet' which is more convenient to use if you switch SIMs from different operators often. They are functionally equivalent.

So they probably haven't even activated the SIM ...

Wow - guess their service does leave something to be desired :/
