MTN recharge voucher not working

Hello all,

My brother just came back from the UK today and I purchased a MTN prepaid starter pack so he could be up and ready immediately.

However, the recharge pin numbers aren't working - I get a "Result not found" error.

All I've done is put the prepaid SIM in his phone, and the phone is connected to the MTN network. Is there something I have missed?

Did you rica the sim card? Does it have a network connection?

Dial 555 and see if it goes through.

Have had this happen to me, was told to wait 4 hours and then try again. Left it overnight and in the morning everything was 100's

If nothing works it means you need to rica the simcard first. You will need to take your ID and proof of residence to a edgars,checkers,mtn store,game,shoprite,picknpay or any store that sells simcards to rica it. Rica is free.

If it is ricad then I assume you are using the string *141*pin#
