mtn sending a lte sim via courier?

Hi

I got a call today from a local courier company saying they need to drop off a sim card mtn sent for free.

Aparently my sim is only 3g and the sim their sending is the Lte one.

Anyone else?

Yes, my husband was called early last week and it was delivered on Thursday.

I went to a store to have it done, i just prefer it that way but thats me. It's free if you on a contract

Get a Prepaid MTN LTE simcard at Checkers or PnP and to do a sim swap for free follow these instructions....

I got the SMS a couple of times but haven't received a call yet.

I did read that sorry was supposed to mention my post was for people on prepaid wanting to do a sim swap.

I guess if you get your new contract sim you would need to call 808 to do the sim swap.

I see MTN is pushing LTE quite hard. I think they want the high data users on their LTE network to free up some capacity on the 3G network.

Could be..funny thing is its a 200 package and it just lays in a drawer for the last 4-5months

I got the SMS to say that they would be calling me, but since I blocked their number (those pesky automated calls) I did not get any calls.

Got LTE SIM card in my post box this morning anyway.

Well courier left it in my post box.

sim with instruction how to sim swap to lte sim,called them and she said its cause my phone is a LTE device and the tower now support lte.
