I have had a sim in my alarm for a number of years - lately I have noticed that I cannot send SMS commands to the Sim anymore. On closer checking, I found that I am getting alerts not from the old 083 xxx xxxx number anymore but a new number 0960300 xxx xxxx. On testing the commands from my phone to this new number, it is working fine.
The SIM is on an old SMS contract via CellSecure. Anyone noticed this or know why the number changed. Maybe the contracts were ported to another Service Provider.
