So MTN, what is happening with your sim swaps?

I did a sim swap yesterday. My old sim was deactivated but my new one has not yet been activated.

I went into a branch. They say they cannot assist.
 
Well done MTN company rep, you're meeting the expectations that people have of MTN customer service.
 
Interesting to note that it is impossible to get hold of MTN customer support without a f..ing MTN cellphone number. Neither do they answer emails or requests on public forums apparently.
 
Go back to the simswap shop and have them hang on to the 808 number for you

Maybe enjoy a bunny chow or something while they waiting/explain the issue hehe
