What is wrong with the mail.mtn.co.za server?

How long are we gonna struggle like this?

what issue are you having?

have you tried the alternative SMTP provided in a previous feed

if not try mail.mtnloaded.co.za

it wasn't sending mail - just kept timing out. I phoned 1555 and they said they're escalating the problem to IT etc etc etc

It seems to work now tho - so who knows - maybe this time it will keep working

Well i work at an isp an every one of our clients that used mail.mtn.co.za had problems sending mail yesterday.

Have you tested it again today?

are there still problems with the server?

i phoned them again on 1555.... they are still having issues apparently. My mails only go thru sometimes... other times i keep having to resend.

Problems are on mail.mtnloaded.co.za and mail.mtn.co.za

Please keep a log of the SMTP server you using & the times of the day that you experience problems with that particular SMTP server- Send me the Logs & i will have a look at them together logs i receive from others.
