MTN SSO website Registration issue

Trying to get my Apple Watch sorted on my MTN contract and failing due to the registration failing on their SSO Portal.

Apple watch app pushes you to the following page to login/register https://signonsso.mtn.co.za/mtnnewwebsso/pages/login.jsp
However after pressing 'register here ' you are forwarded to a page that returns a 503 error (https://portalsso.mtn.co.za/Register).

This has been occurring for a few days now. Phoned support who told me to go to the store, store told me to phone support.

Anyone figured out how to get this to work?

I have the same issue. I have registered, but the login keeps telling me "Authentication Failed" when attempting to reset the password you get a blank page.
 
@nicvon nope. I have gotten further than last time where I have registered (although at the end of the process I got an error).

Seems like my account was created but getting authentication failed when logging in and the password reset doesn't seem to work...
 
@Gaz_K Did you get any further? I find myself in the same frustrating situtation.
 
Never mind. Once the portal was up and running again I was able to register and account and activate my dual sim profile. Works now.

Currently having same-ish problems as I need to reset my portal password. 135 either cannot help via std menus, or the humans either keep quiet (honestly do no answer, not even any breathing!), or they tell me to redial, but then to select invalid options. Whatsapp chat was seemingly somewhat helpful, but they also terminated the chat before they could do anything. Staying 100km away from big centra, they wanted me to drive to a MTN owner store (not franchise).
