I loaded R30 airtime then buy R5 data. I now have R24.52 cents remaining. OK it's only 48 cents stolen.
Anybody else notice this trend on pay as you go.

They probably charged you 48c for the airtime used on data traffic while you were buying data.

Thanks Voicy, bought a voucher for R30 then loaded it. So who knows.
MTN gathering the pennies for the fine they have to pay.

Lol
Now to change SPs, problem is, which one is the lesser crook?

Funny thing this,
Got R15 Airtime, try make a call says insufficient funds, reboot phone works....

Used to happen to me on Vodacom. A simple reboot and simply loading more airtime never worked. Reboot first then load more (in that order). After a while it stopped.

Weird. Never had that happen to me on MTN. I'm on a topup contract.
Lol

MTN does a lot wrong (chiefly customer service), but I really like their data bundles.

R45 for 7 day 500MB. R10 for 1GB midnight data. Awesome for when I'm away from home for a few days.

The *141# seems to be having problems as well. Reboot phone and it updates.
Will reload more air time and see what happens.

These fekkers are at it again this time 74 cents, now how many people are being ripped off???
These fekkers seem to be taking 10% of what you buy and load.
Who can I sh*t on?

MTN is Stealing

Bust red handed ya fekkers.

Used R15 of R30 to load data now have R13.78 left instead of R15.
That is close to 10% of what I have used so far.

WARNING. To pay as you go users MTN is Stealing your money.

No R30 then used R15 for data.
Now have R13.78 balance.
Have not sent any form of communication except data.

Will start using bigger amounts and taking screenshots of all sms received from MTN showing air time bought and money spent showing data bought.
And remaining balances.
Between 8% and 10% seems to vanish.

Loaded the last R10 bundle there should have been R5 left. ONLY R1.55 MTN will you explain this blatant theft.

What phone?

I would guess that if it's at zero balance and suddenly there is airtime again the internet will become active and your phone will start updating before buying a bundle.

Pretty damn sure your phone is "stealing" it, not MTN.

Out of bundle rates being R2.50 for 1MB you only need Whatsapp to reconnect and there will be a rand gone already.

How about topping up before running out of data bundle? Bet your problem will go away then.

Do you really need two threads for this?

It's your phone using data dude.

Start loading real amounts and before running out and it will stop.
