I paid an MTN acoount which was in arrears of 90 days the amount was R1200, I still owed on the 60 day account but I called in and a payment arrangement was made and agreed, with timelines accepted, few hours later I get suspended today. The arrangements were agreed upon and accepted today morning, how can they now cut me off and demand full payment, the company that I took the contract with says that the credit controller is not in a good mood and does not want to listen to reason. I receive payments late and I call in for extensions to avoid these scenarios.

Why accept and give me a payment arrangement and then cut me off. I have still not managed to get through for assistance, MTN is definitely not a fair organization and if the people are moody our lives are disrupted I have been a legacy account for over 10 years spending on average 50k a year

The what now ?, making "arrangements" for arrears, does not mean you are entitled to enjoy the services being offered. Loyalty has nothing to do with it, nor how much you spend. It is what they are legally obligated to do, to cover your and their asses.

They are well within their rights to suspend services, they even have the right, to cancel the contract due to breach of contract, irrespective of "arrangement". All an "arrangement" does is stops it from escalating, and they are still within their right to escalate it if they want to, and good luck getting your contract renewed, they either going to ask you to pay 3 month's in advance or deny renewal.

New level of entitlement unlocked....
