In a recent acquisition, MTN South Africa has secured the remaining 51% shareholding in Cell Place (Pty) Ltd T/A Mobile Solutions. In doing so, MTN is seeking to consolidate its service delivery channels and enhance the quality of service offered to end-users.

Is this new or old news? Who knew that the branches of MTN stores weren't actually part of the MTN corporation itself. But now they are, this might see a shift in customer relations from now on.

This deal went through in december last year, so this is old news (as far as I know).
