MTN to Vodacom Port

Tomorrow is D-day for my MTN contract, actually it expires 21-11, but going to the MTN shop tomorrow to cancel my contract. What do I need, just my ID?

Just hope they ain't full of crap, last time I was there they told me to cancel my contract about a month before it expires and tell them I want to port to Vodacom and then wait about two weeks and then go to Vodacom and set the ball rolling on their side...
Hope all goes well, don't want to pay any cancellation fees...
