MTN Topup via ABSA internet banking

So I've always been using ABSA IB to topup my phone...when it was on vodacom as well as mtn.

I tried that same procedure yesterday and today and it tells me the transaction is unsuccessful due to the cellular operator being offline?

Has anyone else managed to load airtime at all? I've never bought a Pay-if-you-can scratch card for my phone.

After trying at an ATM with no success, I reluctantly went to an FNB ATM and it worked 100%, so it seems ABSA has stuffed up - as always.
