I want to buy a volume once-off bundle on my MTN TopUp contract. Using the *141# menu options, it always fails with a "not enough airtime" error. My balance is over R420, what am I missing?

Have you loaded that airtime yourself, or is it part of your contract airtime allocation?

You cannot purchase bundles with your contract airtime allocation on MTN.

Nope, it is part of the contract airtime. It kind of suck not to be able to convert it to a bundle :( Out of bundle rate it is then for me...

Yes sadly topup contracts are allowed to load bundles but just not with the contract airtime. You need to actually go and buy a voucher at the store and load it then you can buy that bundle.

With Cell C Control Chat and with Vodacom top-ups you can convert inclusive airtime to data. MTN sux.
