Mtn upgrading sms

Hey guys. About two weeks ago i got an sms saying i can upgrade and should expect a call in two weeks (could it be a hoax). Then i sms'ed upgrde to a number and it said i can only upgrde in april sometime. So i was wondering can i upgrade next week or will i have to wait till april (how early do they start letting you upgrade. Last time i upgraded i did it about a month two early). Thanx

Up to four months, but the date they sent you in the sms is the earliest possible date you can upgrade from.

call your service provider, but if you know the date you got your contract, then you can upgrade 20 months after that.
