4 times I tried to call them today and after more than 30 minutes each time I gave up.
What a complete and utter useless company.
So you have good signal and coverage that's all.
At least Vodacom call centre pick up after a shirt time.

But we have all known this for years??

Why do you keep flogging a dead horse?

MTN is an absolutely useless company, they refuse to engage with their customers, give them R20000 bill shocks and threaten them with bad credit records if they do not pay, etc.

The worst of the worst.

Cut your losses and move to Vodacom or Telkom.

Mind you, friend of mine said she had to wait 20 minutes for Vodacom Helpdesk to pick up the phone last week. And when her phone was stolen, she was left on her own.

Looks like Vodacom is becoming just as dumb as MTN - they want to cut costs at all the wrong places.

Send them a message on Facebook. They are normally very helpful there.

I have to agree. 808 is the WORST call centre I have ever experienced.... Wow the wait times are insane. I waited for like 1 hour and 20min and still no answer.

If you need to do anything via 808 good luck. You will be on hold forever! 173 for prepaid customers is even better.

And all the kicking and screaming we do won't help. That's what peeves me off the most.

MTN has given up on South Africa a long time ago.

Think the deal with Telkom Mobile makes them happy, cos they won't have to deal with any customers directly.
