MTN are having issues with their voicemail. We have a business contract with MTN and all our numbers are affected.
If you get a call and miss it, the caller gets a message saying "Number does not exist" and hangs up.
If you call 100 or 111 you get a message saying you have not set up your voicemail.
You are advised to call 141. You do that and there is no option to set up your voicemail.
We called 0831800 (business support) and they confirmed they are having major issues with their voice mail system.
I know stuff happens, but I wish MTN could put a message up saying "Voicemail is down at present", rather than a message that makes it sound like I have changed my number without telling anyone.
