MTN voice mail

I recently changed from post paid contract to prepaid.
In the process MTN changed my voice mail to MTN Lite. They send me an sms notifying me that someone tried to contact me.
I want to change back to "normal" voice mail, whereby the person trying to contact me can leave a message.

If I call 555 and select option 9, I am informed that I am on MTN's voice mail service.
But if I call 100, I am informed that I am on MTN's lite mail service.

How do I get back to MTN's voice mail service?

I'd also like to know. Also recently switched to prepaid.

You need to call 141 then press option 9 then press option 1.

Choose MTN Voicemail or MTN Voicemail Xpress. Both are able to have messages left.

It takes some time to have the system change over to voicemail. If you still have a problem call 173 then press option 9 to speak to a consultant to have them change it for you :)

After doing this

You need to call 141 then press option 9 then press option 1. Choose MTN Voicemail or MTN Voicemail Xpress. Both are able to have messages left.

I received a sms after a while

Y'ello. You voicemail service has been successfully changed to VoiceMail.

Did you receive a sms? If not dial 141 again and follow the steps.

Wait a day, maybe it takes a while before your request can be processed.

Yeah there is always some problems with voicemail you need to call 173 press option 9 and ask them to change you to voicemail cause its stuck on voicemail lite
