MTN ZONE

It seems MTN has finally FIXED the MTN Zone problem on MTN Anytime Topup Contracts. They say R2.30 to all networks if you don't have MTN ZOne activated with 30% discount I paid R1.75 to vodacom in peak time. So it seems to be fixed. We will only know if I see Zone 100%60% and I get free calls/sms to MTN.

Yes sorry for all the replies. MTN Zone works now on topup.

*141*4# and activate it to get up to 95% discount and free mtn to mtn calls.

im also getting the discounts now, seemingly the scam has been resolved

Can someone pls give clarity about mtnzone discounts,i checked the discount with *135*1# it was 100% discount to MTN numbers & 60% discount to other ntworks from 12pm to13pm...then i checked my bal,i had R141,i dialed 3mtn numbers between 12h10 and 12h25,i checked my bal afterwards i was left with R135...i cald 173 tday and i was told mtnzone discounts may change from cal to cal not hourly...something is not ok here...

You did activate it *141*4#

Sometimes [that's why they say depending on the time and Location] when you move to another tower the discount is no longer 100%

Its best to check it before each call.

However with MTN PAYG you will get a popup message when making a call saying that you will get x amount of discount. Sadly it doesn't with MTN Anytime!

Now to just get *141*6# buying of data bundles resolved.
I'm on AnyTime TopUp Option and just tried *141*7*25# to purchase 50SMS'. It says SMS Bundled purchased successfully but the R25.00 is yet to be debited, no SMS' received as yet and not even the sms notifications from 555. I guess it still not working. What a pitty, I really wanted to cancel my Subscriptions with my SP.

I'm not quite convinced of this. At the moment on my AnyTime 350 TopUp Option I get a combined 179 minutes (roughly) at R1.95 In Bundle and R2.35 Out of Bundle. Switching to MTN Zone charges at
But there's no guarantee that you will always get 50%+ discounts, so, I'd rather stick to the default package.
